We started back in 2023, and although under a different name at the time, what's mattered to us hasn't changed since then.

A brand isn't the logo someone designed, or the colours they picked, or even the website they built. These are just the places a brand happens to show up.

The real brand is everything underneath that. We're interested in the decisions a founder or team made along the way that nobody outside the business ever saw.

The version they launched before they felt fully ready. The things they decided not to do. What it felt like on the day their idea first came together. The reason the brand exists in the first place.

Most of this stays invisible. Nobody writes it down, and your customers never really hear about it. What we try to do is find it, and then build something that finally lets it show.

So before we start designing anything, we spend time just trying to understand what actually happened here, and what the purpose of the brand is.

Once we've got a real sense of that, we start working outwards, until what people see on the outside matches what's been true the whole way through.

That's when you've got a real brand.
